Planning

Whilst the council does not have the power to grant or refuse planning permission, the planning authority must inform the local council of applications affecting the parish and consider its views when making decisions.

The response key we use is as follows:

  • A: we support the application
  • B: we have no objections
  • C: we do not object but wish to make comments or seek safeguards
  • D: we object on planning grounds
