The road and all riverside areas are finally clear of flood water. Yesterdays rain is not predicted to cause further flooding and the 21 bus service will be back to the normal route tomorrow morning.

Flood water has cleared from the road outside the Ship Inn but remains over the road from Garth Farm towards the church.
The route will probably be clear for Sunday but the heavy rain later today is expected to cause flooding again for Monday.
The 21 Bus service will remain on divert into next week.

All traffic to avoid this route. The 21 bus service will continue to divert along Cowper Lane.

The road remains flooded from Garth Farm towards the church and will only clear slowly as the adjacent fields drain.

The road outside the Ship and the riverside paths are now clear but extremely muddy.

The river level is falling slowly. The road and pavements near the Ship Inn are still flooded and the section of road from Garth Farm towards the Church will still be flooded tomorrow morning.

The river level is falling but the road from the Ship Inn towards the Church will still be flooded tomorrow morning.

Please continue to divert along Cowper Lane. The 21 bus will remain on divert.

Further rain is forecast for tonight and the rest of this week which could cause a further rise.

The river level has continued to rise slowly overnight and will peak later today.

The road from the Ship Inn towards the church will remain flooded tomorrow and probably Wednesday.

The 21 bus service and all traffic will continue to divert along Cowper Lane.

No other areas of the village are affected.

The river will continue to rise slowly today following further rain.

The road outside the Ship towards the Church and all riverside areas are flooded and will remain so tomorrow.

The 21 bus service will continue to divert via Cowper Lane on Monday.

No properties or other areas of the village should be affected and I will update if the situation changes.

A flood alert was issued yesterday and the river is now rising onto the road at the Ship Inn.

The 21 Bus service is now on divert via Cowper Lane.

Riverside footpaths will be flooding and should be avoided.

The EA is predicting an initial peak level of 3.3m. This would not affect riverside properties or other areas of the village.

A further rise on Sunday is also expected.
